Vintage Mid 20th Century Period Piece. Elliot's of Newbury Solid & Veneer Teak Wood Curved Floating Mirrored Dressing Table / Desk. Overall Dimensions: 58" x 19.5" x 48 (L x D x H) We are delighted to offer this vintage British made mirrored dressing table desk. Mid 20th Century modern period piece made by premium furniture makers Elliot's of Newbury, England.

Known as a floating top mirror dressing table in a stunning Danish inspired design. Of solid & veneer teak woods.

It has one long deep central drawer, two stacked right side drawers & two left side drawers. Each draw has a stylish cigar shaped teak wood pull handle.

Sliding glass recess compartment to center back. The large & very wide mirror is mounted to a curved wood back panel.

This large wood panel pulls backwards & forward to adjust the mirror angle. It's mounted on round tapered Dansette style teak wood legs to give this piece some elevation & even more style. The mirror adjust action & drawer runners all function well. Nicely stamped to the back with makers mark' NEWBURY'.

This piece is vintage so has one or two very minor age related surface scuffs which all adds to it's vintage charm. It's been properly cleaned, teak oil polished & so is now ready to use & love. It's style is directly influenced by the Danish Scandinavian designs of the same period & the likes of Gplan & Ercol.

Overall an exceptional quality made piece of furniture in excellent display usable solid condition with lots of period vintage charm. Lots of storage space & if the mirror was removed it would make for a fabulous home office desk or sideboard. It's style & design is typical of it's period & would date nicely to the early 1960's. This piece would make a fabulous interior design statement.
