Victorian Dressing Chest of Eight Drawers including vanity jewellery drawers all in solid wood with tilt mirror. Please message with your postcode for a quote. A 19th Century Dressing Chest with two full length drawers with a pair of shorter drawers above. All with a vanity mirror flanked by a pair of vanity drawers each side. This is quite substantial and reassuringly heavy.
With rounded corners and original drawer knobs the lower drawer pulls out along with the plinth which forms part of the drawer. A Tudor Rose carving and scroll carvings to the top of the mirror is flanked by fan and scroll uprights. The vanity top, mirror and vanity drawers can be unscrewed to remove in one piece, the mirror havingthe original screw and catches for removing just the mirror if needed.
We believe this to be a Victorian Dressing Chest made of pine and mahogany which had been wood stained. This is an older piece of furniture, the overall condition being commensurate with its age.
Please see pictures which form part of the description. There is a short split in the cross centre support of one drawer, the other having a slither appearing to have detached. Although three of the vanity drawer knobs are missing or damaged, new replacements are included which are unstained and not fitted. Height to top of mirror 170 cm. Height to top of vanity drawers 105 cm.Height of chest of drawers 85.5 cm. More pictures available, please message.
